History

The Gentlemen of the North are the over 35s veterans team of Edinburgh Northern Rugby Football Club (ENRFC). We play a handful of fixtures each year and pride ourselves on having as much fun off the pitch as on it, perhaps more! And even better than rugby and beer, is rugby and beer on tour! Each year we travel abroad to enjoy rugby at a club somewhere overseas, hopefully a bit more exotic than Edinburgh, but just as fun. Having enjoyed many years of social rugby on tour, it is now time to give something back and host our own tournament!

The Gentlemen of the North Veterans 10s Tournament

We play our rugby in the heart of Edinburgh; it's an amazing place to call home.
Our Club, ENRFC, was Founded in 1920 and has a fine tradition of being one of the friendliest clubs in Edinburgh. Our club colours are Navy Blue and Old Gold and we regularly fields two XVs in competitive regional leagues, playing most weeks during the season. We also host a rugby 7s tournament each year in April and fingers crossed also enjoy a run in the Scottish national cup competition.
Our clubhouse is affectionately known as The Bunker and provides a welcoming heart to our club. It is located close to great transport links and is within easy walking distance from the centre of Edinburgh.

Our home in Inverleith Park, Edinburgh.
